I have a private practice on beautiful Bribie Island located north of Brisbane in Queensland. I have 17 years of experience in working therapeutically with individuals, couples and families. I have Bachelors and Honours degrees in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Counselling and a Doctoral Degree in Marital and Family Therapy. This means that I have a broad knowledge of theories, models and techniques used in individual, relationship and family therapy. I integrate many models in my practice because each client is different and I do not believe that any one model fits all.
I am a master clinician and registered supervisor with Australian Association of Relationship Counsellors (AARC), a clinical member of the American Association of Marital and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). I am registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and the Psychology Board of Australia.
I hold specialist qualifications in relationship and family therapy and am qualified to work with individuals on a variety of issues. I also have specialist training in clinical supervision and am an experienced trainer.
I am involved in my professional associations and regularly attend professional development workshops. I am passionate about and very committed to upholding high standards of clinical practice and supervision in the profession.
